Named 2023's 'Color of the Year' by trend forecasting agency WSGN and its sister company Coloro, “digital lavender” began a couple years ago as an online craze and quickly worked its way from the digital realm to the forefront of every fashionista's wardrobe. “[When] we first forecast digital lavender back in 2021, purple was one of the fastest rising colors year over year on the Autumn/Winter 21/22 catwalk shows, with cooler levels of purple like digital lavender up 55 percent year over year,” says WSGN color strategist Clare Smith in a recent interview with Marie Claire. The color continued to rise in popularity, with a whopping 61.6% increase in frequency on the runways in the Spring/Summer 23 collections. Smith went on to note that digital lavender is "a shade that poses that much-needed cautious optimism and escapism that people are craving post-pandemic and even in times of budget crunch; it is imaginative and creative but also speaks of serenity and balance."

Our artists have been equally drawn to the serene hue, with new works arriving weekly. Below are a few of our favorites.
